Entune Pandora error?

Got in the 4runner this morning and got a message that said Pandora error.
I've never seen this error before.
I've had the 4runner for 4 months now and it came with 3 months of free xm radio.
Obviously after 3 months you must pay for the xm radio subscription.
Now when I run my pandora app on my phone while working out in the yard I get commercials or ads. As everyone knows you get their subscription you don't get the ads.
Now when I'm in the 4runner and when I listen to pandora there are no commercials or ads. So did pandora give me a few free months to their subscription and now it's over?
Curious because I'm wondering if that's the cause of the pandora error message or not.

I had the same problem on my new Tundra. There could be an issues with the Entune version of Pandora since Iheart and Slacker both worked fine.

Pandora Error

I am having the same issue..."Pandora Error"
Yesterday I updated my Samsung Galaxy S5...both the Toyota and Pandora app updated last night so...pretty sure thats the issue. I tried uninstalling and re installing Pandora, did not work

Funny enough, I also had a Pandora error this AM. Mine said Invalid Login. Double checked my credentials and everything was still the same. So not sure if its the head unit or the app.

I'm getting the same thing. I've probably spent over an hour between last night and this morning trying all the usual ways to get it to cooperate, but it refuses.

Entire is having technical issues. I actually called Toyota today due to the same issue. They claim they are aware and troubleshooting now.

OK. Glad I'm not the only one.
However I started iHeartRadio and actually like it better.
Selecting stations on the screen are a lot easier due to the better screen layout than pandora.

Have the same exact problem too.

Invalid login message. Tried every troubleshooting thing out there to reset it and it didn’t work.

Called Toyota and said they were aware of the problem and looking to fix it. The gave me a password to set for my Entune Account and that they would fix it and update me with a solution.

Entune is definitely the most frustrating system on these things

Just checked here and saw this.

My Pandora has been out for the past two days. It coincided when I let my daughter connect her phone via Bluetooth and have hers play the music she wanted. I deleted her phone from the system but Pandora still gives the "Invalid Login" error. Strange thing is that the "Radio Stations" do eventually come up but certainly no playback through Pandora.

One odd observation that I'll throw out there, I switched over to Spotify and didn't have to change my Source to Bluetooth. The sound was seemingly getting piped through the Pandora link through Entune on the iPhone but it wouldn't show song data on the screen.

Changed the Source to Bluetooth and all of the song information from Spotify showed up on the screen and the sound quality changed a bit too.

Everyone else is back up and running?

Didn’t even bother trying this morning on the way in to work. Figured I’d wait until I heard from Toyota about the fix.

I’ve been to the dealer a total of 4 times now for just Pandora getting screwy. All be other apps, Bluetooth, work beautifully. Even pandora on my phone played through Bluetooth works perfectly. It’s just the app that has given me trouble.

The last time I was at the dealer they did a software update on the headunit and it fixed the problem.

This time around nothing has worked. Waiting to hear from Toyota on the fix.

Anytime I have ever had any Pandora trouble, I have just opened the actual Entune app on my phone and resigned in. After that... no connection issues. It has done it a handful of times over the 2 years I have had my 4runner, but signing in again has always fixed the problem right away. Not sure the reason it signs you out of Entune, but it's something to check if you are having any issues with Pandora.

I find it interesting that people complain about the lack of technology in these vehicles, while wanting more software, and having a whole bunch of problems with the different applications clashing with each other.
