This is the future if you support free markets and deregulation. Monopolies are formed, prices go up, fertilizer plants aren't inspected, shit blows up, people are bankrupted by medical costs, cats and dogs living together!

Grim but very possible future.
I would not disagree but add that government lobbying and the USSC ruling for Citizens United (what an interesting name, hello?) are the real root causes of free market/deregulation failure. As a Canadian that pays his taxes, being able to get reasonable good medical care (and I rarely use myself) without the possibility of bankruptcy is a good thing for me.
