ERROR CODE 14 on OBD1

So for the last 2 days now my truck while running at idle or any given speed decides to shut off entirely and die. check engine light in OBD1 is telling me ERROR CODE 14 (ignition module/ coil, ECM). Recently I've replaced all 6 spark plugs and wires and fuel filter. just wondering if anyone has had this same error code.

What year/engine is your truck?

It means 'a loss of IGF signal between the ignitor and the computer for 6 events'. In other words, the computer expected a signal that the plugs were firing but couldn't tell they did 'fire' or 'spark' for 3 rotations of the crank (6 spark events). More importantly, it means that the computer, for whatever reason, did not detect a proper 'spark' and 'combustion' event for a long enough period of time to signal a serious problem.
Most likely, it is the ignitor (the black box on the ignition coil) but could also be the wiring from the ignitor to the ECU or the ECU itself.

The FSM lists steps and the procedures to test all of that. Id put money on the coil or ignitor.
