I have a 97 4Runner and the error code that just showed up the other day say's that the IAC valve may be bad or something related to it.
Problem is, I don't have an Idle problem that I can see or detect.
Has any one else had to deal with this?
And could it be something else?
I appreciate any advise you all have to offer.

Update:
I tore it all down and tested it per my Chilton manual. at first it tested bad, but after I cleaned it, it tested good. so I re-installed it and now it seems like the throttle may be sticking. will this problem go away after a while? or does it need a new IAC?
Them things are like close to $200.00
Any advise would be great.
