Ethanol or Non-Ethanol?

I run the cheapest I can find and in 26 years and 240k miles that engine starts beautifully every time.

My small engine tanks get the non-ethanol and Sta-bil all the time.

Same with 96Red 374k mi, 40k on 01 Runner but they driven every day.
If your leaks were rubber fuel line related ethanol probably culprit my experience.

I've never used Sta-bil always ethanol small engines, once in 12-15 yrs real gas
went bad gas was 2-3 yrs old. Stuff used seasonally top off tank n forget till next time been my luck.

Fun reviving old threads. I just laugh at all the people buying premium gas. It does nothing for our cars. It's just made to handle high pressure without auto igniting and pinging Hense why supercharger requires it for some people since its higher pressure. stock 4runners are not high compression.

Ive put ethanol free in my Prius a few times testing and found its not cost effective if your expecting better mpg. I got about the same for the extra 50c-$ $1 more.

ive been running the cheapest stuff I can find for 15years like many others hear and Im at 280k miles running strong.
