Evap ticking

New member,
Picked up a 2001 4runner 180K pretty decent shape,
I have done most of the maint. suggested in the newbie guide that needed done,
What I believe is a problem maybe normal?
After the truck warms up I get a very fast progression of ticking/tapping coming from the rear EVAP. canister by the tank When this starts I can shut the truck off and it will stop? I have read extensively on this and most folks with EVAP problems have dash light or codes I have no codes or dash lights.
Any one experience this or know of a remedy?

Normal from what I can tell, mine makes noises too

Or maybe mine is about to pop also, we will see

As far as I understand- that's the purge valve, doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing.

Ok, The truck runs very well, so I figures it could not be anything serious,
I just have not noticed this before on any vehicle, Maybe I just haven't been paying attention.

Mine does this too. As does my 2000 Miata. I've concluded from reading around it's totally normal.

These trucks are known for ticking. It’s normal.

Thanks for the peace of mind & time I would have spent researching and trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
