Ever replace your sun visor light?

They call it a Fuse Lamp/Bulb 12V 1.5W. About 1.2" long (29mm-31mm)

After a little bit of searching, I finally found an LED replacement for this style bulb. Anyone ever done this? I'm looking to shock the hell out of my gf when she goes to use the mirror next lol.

Well, not in every model. I think a lot of the 1999+ 4Runners had passenger visors with mirrors and lights. Especially the Limited's. Some have them on both sides.

Mine has one, pax only. I think it has less than 90 seconds of use in 13 years. GF obsesses in the house, but then goes on about her life. Been together since the car was bought new and never seen her use it. My ex- did once, I think.

I too would be interested in replacing it with some leds in the sun visor..

down side though.. these little lights are more than what I paid for the dome/trunk and map lights led shipped..

Here's the outcome. It's actually pretty bright for as small as it is. Now that all my other interior lights are very bright leds and allow anyone to see in, I can use this one as a privacy or night light for when I camp in the runner.

I never knew some 4runners had these. Mine only has a passenger visor mirror. and no light.

Well I have a light and mirror on the passenger side but neither on the driver side. I think '01 and '02 limiteds had both mirror & light in both visors.
