Everyones recommendation for new suspension

Heres what i currently have: 06 4runner limited 4.7 with xreas, 2.5, 1.5 lift, adjustable front upper control arms, xsp 20" rims with mich 275 55 20.

I realize this has been beaten to death but i am hoping i can narrow this down to my needs.

I am ditching the xreas. This vehicle never sees off road and does alot of highway. If possible i would like to ditch the 2.5, 1.5 and go spring lift but not necessary. Heres what i was considering:

Bilstein 6100 kit ft, 5100 rear with orig springs and pucks
Toytec ultimate 3"
Leave everything and just change struts to bilstein 5100s
4 5100s with ome springs

Opinions or other new suggestions. No higher than 3" lift.

Go Toytec Ultimate Kit. It’s matched well, reasonably priced, and should meet all of your needs.

Wow. Did you even read my post completely. You must have skimmed it because in the post i even said " it has been beaten to death".

I specifically listed 4 different setups that im leaning towards. I was requesting advice on them and peoples experiences before i pull the trigger.

I searched the site for days on this issue. Im not new to this.

6112s and 5150s

its a great adjustable set up with the 6112s and the rear 5150s ride firm w/o wallow. Basically its a 5th gen trd pro set up.

Toytec Ultimate is a good choice.

I personally went with 5100's and 3" Toytec Tacoma springs in the front with the OME 2895's for the rear, sits nice and level with the ARB bumper. The Toytec Ultimate are just 5100's anyway and I didn't need/want the adjustable collar.

I just picked up an 07' and I plan to go with the Dobinsons MRR Series Shock and coil over. The quality and customer has been great for everyone I know who has worked with them. I'm not totally sure what rear springs I will be going with but you might wanna check them out. When I was looking last the prices seemed to be comparable to the Toytec Ultimate kit but you get remote resi shocks for front and rear.

Looks like its narrowed down to toytec ultimate or bilstein 6100, 5160s set..

I looked into the dobinsons kit. I wish there was more user info on them to make an educated decision on the purchase. Just looking at their shocks, it reminds me of the old monroe magnums for trucks.

I'm running the 6112/5160 combination with my rear air springs and am very happy with the results.

I’d go with Dobinsons... I’ve run stock, FJ coils, Toytec Ultimate, and now the Dobinsons setup. I’m finally happy! There are many options to choose from as far as height and spring rate go. Mike was awesome to work with and my “kit” with assembled front struts and shipping was cheaper than my previous setup. I did 3” front and 3” rear to maintain the factory rake and went with a heavier spring rate to handle my steel bumpers and gear. I have the dual rate rear coils which are awesome!

Another vote for Dobinsons, very nice quality stuff and very affordable. I've driven several 5th gens lifted with these, and I've got the full kit for my 4th gen ready to install soon. Went with a 3/2" set up with their tubular UCA.

Another vote for Dobinsons.

Their rear LT kit is best bang for buck out there.

I have the lightweight Variable coil and it's awesome. Not overly harsh when empty but controls the additional weight of camping gear, trailer, and passengers nicely.

Leaning towards Dobinson's as well...though I might just go with Bilstein's short-term with the stock front coils and rear air and upgrade to Dobinson's coils later on. Since I have the rear air and everything works, I want to consider options to retain the air pump and sensors after doing the rear coils to use with aftermarket bags.

No plans on doing a rear bumper anytime soon, but this will be infrequently loaded up for camping and may likely see some towing, but will also be doubling as an occasional daily driver. With the mixed use, having rear air bags to compensate for load is pretty ideal.

I have read that dobinsons is a very firm ride. Those of you that have the set up what are your opinions on the ride?

I have bilsteins on my GMC and it rides well so im assuming that they will be the same on the 4runners.

This a DD and i dont want anything teeth chattering.
