1998 2.7L - Was checking my shims and clearance today and got tired of messing around and pulled off the exhaust cam (all valves need adjusted).
I forgot to put the service bolt in before pulling the cam, but I got it back in with a lot of grunting and twisting.
I only had to move it about 1 tooth to get the service bolt in.... does this seem correct? I hope so because just getting it turned that 1 tooth was tough. I cant imagine going to the next hole.
On reinstall - do I just grease the clamp areas up or put a little oil on them before bolting back in?
