Experience with ngk laser irdium spark plugs? V8 motor

I didn't know the NGK Laser Iridium 1FR6T11 4589 are OE replacements for the V8 (well, they are according to NGK's website anyway). I had put the NGK Iridium IX BKR6EIX-11 3764 kit in the 2007 thinking they were 100k mile plugs. Can they go 100k?

Maybe they can, but the Laser's seem to be better quality, more durable. 1.0mm center electrode vs .6mm for the IX. Platinum ground electrode vs nickel for the IX. And $8.99 vs $6.99.

Kidding some, but since the Lasers are 29% more expensive, maybe I'll change the IX's at 71k. ;-)

The short answer; you could run copper plugs and it wouldn't make a bit of difference in the performance of your engine.

Since we're not talking about a high strung high performance/fully built engine, whatever spark plugs make you feel warm and fuzzy are the best plugs for you to buy
