Extended panhard bar needed

I am going to be installing my toytec superflex springs and king shock this long weekend and over looked the panhard bar.

is it 100% needed? I use my 4runner for mostly desert trails and whoops and tow a little adventure trailer behind it

I saw toytec offers one. Does any one know how much longer then stock the Toytec bar is?

The Toytec panhard bar is made by Rokmen and is adjustable. I think I set mine to like 1/4" longer than stock and my rear axle is within 1/16" of center.

so the bar is stock length and the adjustment / length is just made with the heim joints?

I don't remember if they shipped it adjusted to stock length, but it was close.

Yeah, to adjust it you loosen the jam nut and thread the heim joint in or out to set your eye-to-eye length and then tighten the jam nut back up. I'm pretty sure one of them is left hand thread so you can also (in theory) adjust it while it's installed. That's difficult to do in practice though because the mount brackets get in the way of putting a wrench on the jam nuts.

Just get the Panhard Bar Correction kit made by [MENTION=28464]eimkeith[/MENTION]. Super cheap compared to an adjustable bar and super fast shipping. It comes with both a drop and lift bracket and will actually help raise your roll center vs an adjustable bar which just relocated your rear axle.

This^^^^^!!! That is the absolute best option for Panhard Correction.

I have the ability to make an adjustable panhard bar as well if I want. But the kit the guy sells is cheaper then doing that as well.

Have the eimkeith PCK on both my runners, money well spent. Keeps the geometry of suspension as it should be when lifted.
