Extended Warranty? 2015 4Runner limited

I've never purchased an extended warranty for any vehicle. I too am relying on the quality Toyota is known for. We have a 2000 Tundra TRD with 120K miles. In the 16+ years since new I have replaced 2 coil packs and 2 O2 sensors due to failures. Everything else has been preventitive maint (plugs, oil changes, brakes, etc.) I've done most all the work myself. Back in 2000 there was a card in the owners manual you could send in with some $ and get a set of manuals - which I did. That and a $35 OBD code reader has been a big help.

As I get older and our 4Runner ages, I'm sure I'll have to turn over some of these tasks to someone else, but for now I'm good. Our 2013 4Runner is so far been trouble free as expected.

Could you please post some pics of your mods here. We are picking up our 16 LE and are looking at modding with the same setup, just some aftermarket rims.

I was quoted $2555.00 for 8 years and 125,000 miles. Big difference.

This guy saved around 40%.

I gain nothing for passing on this info and I definitely don't work for Toyota. But like some have said Extended Warranties are great for some and maybe not for others.

To each their own I say. Want one, great, if not that's okay too.

Warranty info

Hi gamester,

I'm purchasing a 2016 trail very soon. Can you please PM me the extended warranty info? No problem with purchasing out of state? Do they mail you the paperwork? Does the warranty just show up electronically if I need to take the rig in for service? Also- can I purchase the warranty after my truck purchase?
