Extended Warranty ?

So, I was curious if anyone has purchased an extended warranty with their new 4Runner? The dealer has given me an option to purchase one at a great price. It is transverable and you can get $$$ back if you trade in early. I know people say these things are bulletproof but it's always the 'what if's'.

Thanks for that great link! I purchased mine the other day, I have a feeling I will be calling around to see if I can beat the one I have and switch, or have them match it at least. Thanks again! I figured it was a 'set cost' no difference between dealers, go figure, they will screw you at every chance, and people wonder why they have bad reps lot so times!

I made a stupid move. Mine cost $1,350 for 6 years 100,000 bumper to bumper with no deductible. Saw on the post that people were paying half that. First time I ever bought the warranty on a new vehicle, so I was stupid to not check here first. Of course if I would have waited, it would have been sold by then and I'd still have a lousy Explorer in my garage.

If you paid too much, then cancel it and get nearly all of your money back--it's prorated. Then, if you really think you need one, get one at the lower price.
