i want that ARB!!!! the wife just OKed it! and yeah i already got the back pay both checks posted and yeah. i will have some work on and off this summer so i am not totally broke(we do savings to get buy on and the wife has maternity leave and vacation so yeah i am ok spending this

I'm guessing either he has them and just has yet to put them on or he's rubbing like a mother.

nope they are on there, and i dont think they rub that bad, the only place they rub is on the splash guard on the back of the fender(that plastic thing)only when flexing, and the inner frame rails at the back of the finder, at full lock. but i also am running the 17 tundra rims and that pushes the tires out an inch more or so than a standard tacoma or 4runner wheel.

naw its ok no ones steeling my thread lol i got more important things at the moment to deal with lol last night on my way home from helping a friend of mine(my driver from last deployment) buy her first 3rd gen t4r, i get a call from her telling me that my wifes water just broke and she was now in labor... -my wifes phone just died on her like 2 or so hours earlier so i she call anyone(thank God for facebook!). anyhow yeah as luck would have it i was outta fuel and my fuel light had been on since i left Hillsboro Or(about 30miles away) so i knew i needed gas. got gas as fast as possible and blew i dont know how many red lights and speed limits and was wishing i had wilsons t4r with a nice SC. finally got home, literally had to drag her out to the truck and go(she wanted to keep packing and cleaning the house lol carzy pregnant women lol), her cousin cam over to watch our son and the dog till the babysitter could get there. anyhow yeah we now have our second baby, a beautiful baby girl and i couldnt be happier... so i might be away from here a bit more than i normally am, kinda got a more important new addition arty:

^oh i know, this one is numero dose for us and we are stopping with one boy and one girl. yeah we have been saving for the new one and stocking up as the pregnancy progressed so i think we are good. a friend of mine is gonna be giving me some work at his shop this summer so it will help... ive been just short of harassing Toyota about their parts opening they have... i want that job bad, it would be sweet, like <10min from my house and, well its Toyota parts(yes i know i would be working for the stealership, but it wouldnt be a stealership for me anymore lol if that doesnt work then i have a couple back up plans...

no lift, no cutting just some minor rub, its not bad, i hammered over the pinch weld at the back of the finder. the offset on the tundra rims and the fact that they are 17s i think helps with them not rubbing so bad ive wheeled them pretty good and been happy with my results:

:jaw drop: How did you not smoke that passenger side front door?!? I ran some pretty hard trails in my Runner but I never got to see how close I was to hard body damage :lmao:

i dont know, i do know that i have driven that trail several times before (although this was the first time in the runner). if you look on some of the side videos on youtube you will see my red 85 extra cab running that trail right after my runner, -the one where the spare tire bounces out through the bednet (a friend of mine was driving it that day). ive had both that truck and my other 85 up that trail several times so i knew the trail and how "tight" it was and that i was running a risk body damage. but its not bad, with some touch up paint its hardly noticeable till pointed out

Congrats man. and that is awesome that your wife is cool with you still modding the runner, i know too many guys who gave up their hobbies when they had kids

my wife is into wheeling too, just not as much or hardcore as i am, but she actually owns the red 85 4x4, and has owned it sense before she met me lol. and so when you couple that with me making arguments that the ARB bumper will help protect the family in case of an accident(which is true to an extent) and making it more off road worthy to take on long camping trips and do family outings to the mountains with ect she is ok with it. God i love her!, shes a keeper:trophy:

so my sliders should be done sometime this week yay! and my budbuilts will be here hopefully by the end of the week as well, the ARB front bumper will be here sunday... and ill be installing the trany cooler and gauge at that time. the only thing ill be waiting for is the lil skip tank skid... i opted not to get the new MTRs as my bighorns still have plenty of life left in them and will do fine untill next summer at the earliest. i will be selling my brush guard and front bumper to help offset the cost of the ARB and the new wheels i found for my old pick up. i also picked up a set of 16s from at tundra/taco that i was gonna put the MTRs on but now am gonna split up and sell individually. im thinking now might be a good time to start a build thread...? idk

so i just picked up a set of 9wrap LC coils for the rear along with 99 tall front coils and struts from 99yota4 tonight. -thanks again man! anyhow so yeah i guess my question is should i run the 99s with a spacer or run my stock 97s with a spacer to match the the hight of the 9wraps. i know i will inevitably end up with some rake and thats ok by me. but i cant afford the front set up from toytec at this time, hopefully by the end of the summer when im working full time again. but yeah what do you guys think spacers on the 99s or the 97s? -i know it will kill the springs but at this point i dont care as long as i gets me by for now.
