My driver seat fabric cover is "an inch" away from being torn.
Since "ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" i want to address now, before its too late.
Any suggestions , tips, techniques on what to do and how to do..?
Thanks!

When saw post title, I said great, a lecture on seat repairs... LOL. Well, hopefully one of the guys will teach us something

I fixed mine by ordering an new OEM seat bottom cover. Should be good for another dozen years. If you want to try and do a decent repair, you'll need to remove the seat cover to reinforce and re-stitch the seam. When I've done this in the past, I've used fabric glue to affix reinforcing fabric on the back side of the upholstery fabric.
