Factory 16" steel wheels

I'm looking for info on which models came with factory steel wheels as an option. Is anyone running steel wheels 16" with 33's and NO spacers? What size 33 are you running? Did any model have 16x8 steel wheels?

Most 4Runners that have steelies from the factory are 15" wheels. There's a canadian package called the "Badlands" I think that had the 16" steels as standard. I've seen a few sets on 1st gen Tacos, but never a 4Runner. They should be roughly the same as the early Alloy wheels. ~4.5-4.75 backspace, with a 285/75R16 you will be really close to the UCA, if not touching it at full droop.

Steels were all 7" wide, alloys are 7-7.5".

They are very hard to find, most were 15". If you want steel get the standard Toyota 16" wheel. They look better anyway.

I have 285 or 295/75r16 cooper discovery at3 on my steelies. No spacers. Rubs when I turn but I think that's from crappy alignment company since it's only at full lock on one side during normal driving. A lot of rub flexing it out offroad.

I am non-4x4 running fj80 springs rear, bilstein 5100 front with OME junkyard springs

Factory 16" steel wheels

I believe they are tundra rims. I bought them off Craigslist. The base model 1st gen tundras had steelies. Saw a lot of them on the v6 manual trans trucks when I was working at an independent automotive shop
