**PICS -- 2005 Factory JBL Speaker box with JL Audio 8W3v2

Selling my factory JBL enclosure with custom mounted JL AUDIO 8W3v2 sub. I literally just bought this sub from WooferEtc for 149.99. I spent another 50.00 on JL Audio wiring, clips, custom made MDF spacer, polyfil, and dynomat. In fact i put dynomat all over the inside of the JBL Oem box along with the polyfill. Sub is wired in parallel and the wires come out of the factory hole. I am certain you could take off the factory amp and replace it with another amp. You need a ~125 watt RMS amp /Max 250. JL underrates their stuff.

It sounds great! I would have kept it but i came from 2 12"s prior to this and i require more. Not to mention i have full JL Audio components up front powered by a PDX 5 amp...those need to paired with something large! haha!

This set up is perfect for someone who wants OEM look, no loss of space, and a sub that hits the lows the factory system simply cannot.

For some reason it wont let me download all the pics, so please email me and i will send multiple pics of it installed and out of the truck. ***ALSO ..i will include all the bolts that mount it to the rear area (all oem bolts).

NOT sure what to ask for this. Make me an offer...and you also get the factory JBL amp that is on the enclosure currently.

Could this be used on a non JBL system? I am looking for a sub setup that doesn't stick out for my dogs to trash :) Pics would help immensely.
 
Im not sure if the models that dont have the factory 10 speaker system have the bolt holes to mount the OEM enclosure. Its wired to use an external (non OEM) amp. If you have the factory jbl amp you could wire it to this sub, but this sub can take 125RMS / 250max, and JL underrates their subs. Its a dual voice coil sub...and its wired so you just need a + and - to make it work. Again, its sounds great, im just used to two 10's / single 12.

Ill go ahead and take the whole enclosure out tonight and take pics. Ill include all the OEM bolts as well.

This is why i used the factory enclosure...i wanted something that looked factory but sounded 10 x better. Im just not sure if the non JBL models have the bolt holes to mount this. Im sure they do, but not 100%. All you would need is a small amp then to run this.

If you could post a couple pics of it installed, that would be helpful as well. If you already have it out don't worry about it though. Is there enough space in the enclosure to mount an amp? Or rather would one need to find another space?

Sorry, i didnt have time last night. Tonight im changing out all the fluids and should be able to take some pics of it. I would imagine you could mount an amp where the factory amp is on the enclosure. If you search "4runner factory JBL enclosure sub" you can see exactly what others have done that are identical to mine. Other than the brand of sub. Again, should be able to get some pics up tonight.

Link is in my sig to my thread with info/pics showing how the swap is done. You guys with non-JBL 4runners may want to look at your 4runner to see how you'd mount this up, I know you guys have a storage compartment where the sub normally mounts.
