Factory Storage box?

What is suppose to go in the storage box above the right rear wheel well?....theres a few built in straps to hold something in place, Im curious if it was a toyota first aid kit or a road safety kit that went in there....

I think the straps for for the tow hitch ball mount.

It comes with a tow hitch ball mount.

When I bought our 4R used it had the cargo net, hitch and ball (still in the factory box) in there. The sales person told me that's how they came from the factory, so I assume that is what "should" go in there.
