I went up that fun side. [MENTION=64825]tomasallan[/MENTION] went down that fun side! He had a good thud on his skids and I don't have those yet. So I opted out for that.
It didn't seem very noticeably top heavy at all. I'm sure there is probably a little difference, but it wasn't so much that I thought about it all.

No rear in the works at the moment. Eventually, but not just yet. Our local 4runner group has a small skid group buy in the works. I'm also getting close to a need for new tires. I'm planning to do some wheels about that time too.
I'm also gonna start accumulating the parts needed for a regear and locking the front diff.
Maybe a rear will be put into place next year!

Im really digging the bumper. Was leaning towards the SW but after seeing this with the hoops I think I may be sold. Would you mind sharing what the rough cost was? You can PM me if needed. Otherwise awesome build! Keep it up!

I reckon its be a little while since I've posted any updates on my truck. School during the day and work at night has been a little hectic here lately, but I have done a few things here in the recent months.
I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Vin over at Stealth Custom Series. He was very quick and helpful when I was asking a couple of questions. Which led to these showing up at my door step.
Then after some debate with myself, I decided on some new rubber as well.
After the wheels and tires were on, I had a little bit of clearancing to do to make them work. MT Bumpstop extentions, Wheelers Offroad Super Bump front bumpstops, and a fresh BMC were in order.
I also did a little bit of trimming on the flares and pinch welds. I've got a few things left to trim up to get it dialed in, but I'm very happy overall.

I also finally got around to getting my RCI Skids installed.
I was running out of time to get my truck ready for GSMTR. With Finals week and work, I ended up having two days to get my Skids on, BMC and trimming done, touch up on my bumper, install my bump stops, change diff oils, etc.
Then last week, I took off on a 4 day week to Windrock park for the Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride (GSMTR). It was a huge Toyota event being put on the Southeastern Toyota Land Cruiser Association (STLCA). We had a pretty good sized group from the Atlanta 4runners show to up camp and wheel.

This FJ45 was beautiful. The bed had been bobbed 12-14" short, Lockers front and rear, LS motor swap. I was definitely drooling.

And the minor carnage for the weekend!! Also, I managed to scratch up 3 of 5 brand new wheels. All of which have less that 1500 miles on them.

Within the first week of having my 4runner, I already had some more money burning a hole in my pocket. So I started off with a few smaller-ish things.
I dropped of my truck with Solarworks here local to me to get some tint. I decided on Llumars Pinnacle series 15% on the front two windows and a strip of 5% across the front windshield as well. I was also getting a clear bra put on at the same time.
I also had my Weathertech floorliners for the front and rear show up that week.
I then started shopping around looking for something to mount lights to. At the time I was looking there was hardly anything available outside a full bumper or something like the Westin bulbar which I wasn’t a fan of it. That is when it seemed like Defiant come out of nowhere. I spoke to Paul a few times trying to get the light bar tab spacing figured out. I was really indecisive on what lights I wanted to do and that made it a little harder I reckon. I originally wanted to go with 2 Lightforce 240 Blitz’s and 2 LF 170 Strykers, but I decided that they would most likely be too big up front. I eventually decided on 4 Hella Rallye 1000 Black Magics, and they have been great.
A few months later I had a little more money burning a hole in pocket and decided it time to try and add a little more throat to the 4runner. After arguing back and forth with myself about a muffle I got settled on the Magnaflow 12586! When it arrived, I called up the local muffler shop to see if they could get it put on that day and was told that I could drop it off and they would try and get it on that day but no promises. Well, me being eager I decide to look around and find another shop that could do it. I found Johnson’s Muffler shop online and decided to give them a call. The guy told me to come on buy. I loaded up and left. Little did I know I was about to be going way back in the backwoods to have this muffler welded on.
The following week, my intake arrived. Installation was pretty quick and painless.

I really like your light bar (I know you've since sold it), and have contacted Tiregate. Can you comment on the difficulty of installation?

It was pretty simple and straight forward to install. I'm not sure if the attachment changed or not since the company changing names.

I'm loving the tires so far. I've been very happy with them on and off the rock. They took everything and more at Windrock a couple of weeks ago. Amazing traction, and the sidewalls really sink their teeth into ruts. I've got a tiny bit more trimming to eventually do to get them 100% dialed in, but I'm very happy with the result as of now. Especially since I am still running stock UCAs.

Well, Tiregate advises they've discontinued the a Defiant light bars.

I relocated the P/S lines and added in a power steering cooler. If you don't plan to add a winch, then you would be fine. My cooler is bolted to the underside of the winch plate on the bumper.
