Failed Smog, need opinions

The Legends Cars are cool. I had a '93 FJ1200, years ago. One of the few bikes I regret selling.

Not a pic of my bike, but it looked exactly like this.

Nice dude, we bought two complete bikes just like the one you posted, just so we could scavenge the motors. Our current main motor puts out 135rwhp at 9200rpm with 100 octane. Total weight of 1301lbs with driver and full tank of fuel.

Hey Fellas,

Sorry about the late response.

I have a Denso on order. Going to try to return the other O2 sensor (not holding my breath).

Air filter will go back to standard Wix Filter, old one was just fine anyway.

Also going to replace the fuel filter and seafoam hell out of it.

Lastly, need to run another tank of fuel through it after I reset the ECU. Need to make sure it's learned to drive properly before it goes back in. I didn't give it a lot of time last time to adjust.


I don't think I have a bad cat. The truck runs great (has more power than it used to, especially at high RPM), and it's certainly not throwing a code as it should w/ an OBD2 vehicle. No funny exhaust smells, either.

I hate sinking more and more money into this thing to make it smog. Atleast I'm running out of stuff to throw at it.

What kind of fuel are you running?

Someone on here recommended midgrade or premium due to the ISR Mod and Deckplate mod. I didn't mind so that's what I was doing.

I've since gone back to basic (which was probably another mistake).
