FIgured they were E but I was confused when he said hard enough sidewall... In my head I'm like "of course E is gonna be hard enough sidewall, it's like driving a damn dump truck!"

Yes, 4th gen stock height and no spacers. Definitely need to push the fender liners and possibly bumper trim. Lift hopefully coming soon though.

Got it. These tires are on my short list for replacement of my OEM Duelers. Would rather not mess around with a lift kit and/or spacers. I'll have to find out when that time comes.

5th gens come with 265/70's stock so you might be good if you stick with that size. Mine had 265/65's from the factory.

These tires have caught my eye once my Firestone Destination's start nearing the end of their lifespan. I'm not sure which size to go with to avoid severe rubbing issues. I have a Limited so the wheels are 18" and I do have a lift (Bilstein 5100's all around set at 0 with Wheelers T12 and T1 springs).
I'd like to bump the tire up to 285 if possible but I also don't want to deal with rubbing and chopping up fender liners etc. Is it possible to move up to 285's or should I just stick with 265/65/18?

You will need to trim, especially since these run a little larger than most 285s
Worth IMO, but it will need to be done. Your alignment (caster numbers) will play a big role in how much is needed. More positive caster helps
I'm at 5.8°, chopped the body mount, aftermarket bumper etc and still rub occasionally up front

Very good info, thanks! I guess trimming wouldn't be the worst thing but I don't feel comfortable nor do I know anyone that could do a body mount chop for me if I needed that. I do have some positive caster after the alignment post-lift so that sounds beneficial. Thanks again

Go with a size in between and you should only have to do very minimal trimming

The 265/70 is not a bad size upgrade
Falken is also supposed to release this in 255/75 early 2018 and possibly 275/70 if you are able to wait for that in-between size

I Spoke with Falken a Few Months back and they said 275-70-17 was going to be released in April 2018 in a D Load. I'm trying to wait to get them in that size. My Cooper ATP's are at 94k. Seems like people are Very Happy with the AT3W :frisky:

265/70 wouldn't be bad but 275/70 sounds even better. I can wait a little longer, that's not a problem. Thanks for the heads up.

I got them on Ebay through Discount Tires. Ebay was doing a 15% Ebay bucks back and DT was having $75 gift card on 4 set of tires.

Spoke to Falken today and told production begins in the 1st Quarter of 2018 and For Sale The 2nd Quarter For LT275-70-17 Wildpeak AT3/W. Was Told originally offered in a D Load. Nice to have another 275-70-17 Option for a A/T Tire.:high5:

Had a set of 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W installed a couple weeks ago. So far i am very happy with them. Slightly noisier than stock(obviously) but its nothing to gripe about. These tires fit well with the Method wheels 17x8.5 with 0 offset.
