family 4runner???

Ok, since I began the quest for myself a 4runner something has happend. I was going to trade in our two little vehicles, get her the queen family truckster and myself the 4runner. She is starting to become interested in one for herself. So another silly question: We have 3 kids, 2 and half, 4 and 12. We have booster seats that make the back kinda cramped in her litttle Pontiac Vibe. Without breaking the bank, what's a good model 4runner for the family. It can be 2wd and an automatic. Looking for the most mpgs for my buck if I am to consider getting one.

Maybe a Highlander?

I don't think it's a good idea to put a third-row seat in a 4runner, if you look for interior room, Highlander is actually much better (more car/minivan like)

Agreed. While the 4runner is a great truck, the highlander is much more multiple kid friendly.
