Hey guys,
I'm thinking of freshening up the silicone oil in my 3RZ-FE fan clutch. I know Toyota offers the fluid in 3000, 6000, and 10000 cSt viscosity.
Can anyone who has done this procedure recommend a viscosity for me? Think standard-duty operation...
As I understand it, the thicker fluids cause the fan clutch to hook up a little later. Seems like a lot of people run 10000 without issues and I've also read a few accounts of 6000 working well too.
