Well not to the actual convention, but since this was just down the street from me, I had to go check things out. Lucky for you guys I brought the camera with me, and hung out in the park that sits between the convention center and hotels hosting the event.

Absolutely great people watching, I could have stayed for hours on Saturday, but the g/f actually suggested that we go put the engine in the MR2. lol I guess shes not as big of a fan of some of the female costumes as I was.

I think last year was the first year for it, but so far they have done Memorial Day weekend both times.

haha they have a Peter Brady costume.. that's one I haven't seen.

If they have the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man costume I'm buying it.

What is Fanime? Is it similar to Comicon? I just went Comicon for the first time. An old friend had a booth there. What a trip!

I've never been to Comicon, and technically I didn't go Fanime, but I imagine they are very similar. I do know one of the things they push on the Fanime website is it is by the fans for the fans.
