Fargo4x4 Build Thread

I noticed in some of your pictures you had a soft RTT, then moved to hard shelled, yet in some of your traveling pics you just used a regular tent..

Any input as to why the switches, which ones you've preferred the most, etc?

Hey!
So we have a few tents! We have a trailer and a tacoma so sometimes we swap tents between our trailer and taco. We also sold one and swapped it for an automatic. Anywho as far as our favorite. I would say the FSR Automatic A55 Soft Top or the high country edition from FSR would be the the bests we ever had! So much easier to set up!

I really like how clean this install is! Did you mount the compressor directly to the bracket and not use the metal bracket included from ARB?

What size wire did you use to run the power back to the battery?

If I remember I believe we used the mounting plate and bolted it on to the bracket. Wire wise it came with a harness and so we just matched the size of the wire with that harness I think it was 10 gauge

We have so much catching up to do on our build thread! We just updated some pics on our original posts but here are some additions.

fargo4x4, can you elaborate on how you vertically mounted your maxtrax? I want to go that route!

i got a question for the OP:

what are the black strips you are using for wire management when you open your rear hatch?

I"m looking for something similar. thanks

I also really like the plastic raceway you put on your windshield and rear hatch for wire management. Can you by chance post up some close up pictures of that so we can see how the wires enter and exit? Also, for wiring entering through the back, do do you wire through the taillight assembly? Did you seal this with silicone and do do you have any leaks?

I am sure i forgot something since i have done quite a lot to the truck but feel free to ask away

Post some pictures of the Bumpstops!

Awesome build, are you up 2" or 3" in the rear? Looks like 3" you said in the front. Just wondering if you had to do more extensive trimming in the front to fit the 295/70/17?
