Feeler: (5) 17'' Sport Wheels & 265/70R17 Wrangler Duratracs

The wheels & tires are currently mounted but I'm not running them on my truck. My orginal intention was to run two sets of wheels. I would run these 17'' during the winter season & off-road then run the 18" limited wheels I picked up here on the board with stock size tires for the summer months. However it seems to be cheaper to buy the tires I like (285/60R18 Nittos) than replace the stock tire with a decent set of highway tires the stock size. Storage space is limited and with me buying the Nittos I just don't need a 2nd set of tires for a few months of use.

There is a disclaimer as I want to be honest, the tires have not yet balanced very well, I've tried twice and at this time they are only stable to about 75mph over that and you will feel some vibration, the 5th tire was never used. The wheels are in decent shape no rock/curb rash they do have some scratches from the "discount" tire shop moving the wheel weights around. With this knowledge I'm pricing these at $850. The wheels should be worth about $500, and the tires with less than 5,000 miles cost $1350 when purchased 3 months ago. I feel this is very fair & at this price you could work with this setup to make it work for you. I'm willing to travel a resonable distance around the NE area to meet.

So (5) 17" Sport Wheels, (5) TPMS Sensors, (5) 265/70R17 Wrangler Duratracs < 5k Miles on 4 of the tires.

These are the best winter tires I've ever used, the rough winter was tamed nicely running this setup. I just really like the look of limited wheels with Nitto TG's and will go that route.

What would need to be done to balance them? Are they all out of whack or just one or 2? I may be interested. Also, I just noticed you seem to have wheel weights mounted on the outside of the wheels, who did that?

There are weights on those on the inside as well. They are balanced right now but I'm very, very picky nothing less than perfect will make me happy with tires. They are solid to 75mph after that you can notice a small faint vibration which I beleve is from 1 tire. Using the spare will most likely solve that problem, and also why I'm selling these tires this price. If someone did have to even replace a tire, they are still ahead here.

If I cannot sell these tires locally before fall I will bring them to a "specialist" shop that has the correct equipment & knowledge to get these perfect before I use them for winter again.

There is interest in seperating the wheels and tires but they are still mounted together at this point. I have someone who has showed interest locally, if that falls through I'm willing to look at seperating this set. PM me and we can discuss further.
