Hey guys,
I'm upgrading my sound in my truck, and just bought some new front speakers. These have been in my truck for about a year, and I got them from here before this. They are JBL, aftermarket. The nice thing about these is that they are directly plug and play. They are in the stock bracket, and the Toyota wiring harness plugs right in. My new speakers from crutchfield took some electrical modification, and the bracket they gave me needed my dremel.
Anyway, this is a feeler to see if anybody is interested in buying these, or if I should just keep these as a backup if mine ever blow.
They are BASS-y (word?). I never had these with the stock unit, only with the scion HU. My truck is standard NOT JBL so it probably won't fit JBL. I also have no idea about 06+, but can't imagine it would be any different.
Problems:
One of the speakers bracket has a crack. I received them like that and it has been fine ever since. But there is a picture.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I"m pretty sure I have PDF of how to replace the front speakers... if I can't find it by the time it ships, I'll send you the pages crutchfield gave me. (same document, one is just electronic) This is SERIOUSLY easy. I gave myself 2hrs to install these when I first got them. It took less than 10mins per side.
