i have a 2004 4Runner v8.
Last week i pulled the cluster so that i could put a small piece of tape over the always flashing tire pressure light. No big deal, i have pulled plenty of dash panels before. I get it all re-assembled and now the odometer has changed numbers and is only half lit. Odd, so i take it all apart again to see if i missed a connector or something, no such luck. Has anyone ever had this happen? am i missing something obvious? Toyota said to disconnect the battery to re-set the ECU, that didn't work either. Help.
