Fender liner trimming for CBI bumper

So I just got my CBI bumper on and im trying to trim the fenders liners so that they fit around the bumper. Im worried about getting water in the intake now though. Any Ideas or pictures of what you guys with aftermarket bumpers have done would be awesome! Ive seen the internal snorkel mod an stuff like that but I don't spent that much time in the water to invest in that time.

On my arb i just zip tied the entire inner fender to the old bumper bracket tucked up there out of sight and has held up fine to for a while if the cone at the bottom of the fender liner sticks out there no harm in trimming a little off.

My ARB bumper is on the way. Can you post pics of the inside of the fender? I think I understand what you are saying, but a picture is worth a 1000 words of explanation.

I don't have any pics but I installed the bumper, then used a sharp razorblade to cut the liner to the same shape of the new bumper. then poked two holes near the bottom and zip tied it to the washer bottle on the passenger side and part of the inner fender on the driver side. Been holding strong for over a year now.

My driverside zip tie broke on a road trip a few weeks back (i could hear the liner flapping on the tire at about 65) - so i put in a new zip tie. 60 second fix at a truck stop.

No water issues with my set up at this point but I don't take it mudding and when I ford crossings, I'm pretty careful with how I go about it. Definitely not zipping through deep puddles at 50 miles an hour.

Ya, I just cut it somewhat to the shape of the bumper and let it tuck up inside. Nothing pretty, but you don't really see it anyway.

Heres from the inside of the wheel well, not much to see

this is from the center of the bumper looking in under neath the head light where you can see where it is zip tied. i would zip tie them up first before you put the bumper on though just makes it easier and then they are out of the way too
