Do a search on ebay for 4runner remote and you will see them. Same thing as the link Qyota posted but at a better price.

Ahh...that worked. I had done a general search for switchblade keys, but there must have been 75 different ones. The 4runner one was on the 3rd page. The only question I have is that it says '99 and up. Would it work with a '98?

lol i think quality is good, and it should work on a 98, you prob just dont need a transponder, but im not sure because of the remote too

I'm pretty sure I have a transponder. Isn't that the black part around the top of the key?

The one thing I don't have that newer ones do is the button on the remote where you can roll down your rear window.

the customer who showed me his switchblade had a 4th gen
