few questions

First of any tips of removing the driver side door panel ? Seems as if my door handle from the outside has broken. The door won't open from outside. I went to check if my car locked , so I pulled on the handle and felt like something poped of. I'm guessing I need to remove the door panel to get to it from other side and see If a cable or something poped of.


Another question is, I'm thinking about using EASTWOOD internal frame coating. My frame isn't rusty at all but I can feel some little tiny rust flakes inside through the holes. Any expirence on this product ?

I would also like to use FLUID FILM on top of the EASTWOOD internal frame coat. Do you guys recommend this ? I'm planning on spewing the FLUID FILM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE, winter is coming soon. And they do spray salt here in NJ.I'm curious if these two products will work together !! Or will one have a chemical negative effect ?? Has anyone used these methods or booths ? Can I get a gallon of FLUID FILM, and simply fill it into a regular spray bottle and use it ? With their 360 nozzle ??

Uummmmmm seems as if the inside door handle has broken to. Now the door won't open from outside or inside and I was planning on fixing the outside door handle problem tomorrow. So how do I take the door panel of if the door won't open at all ? It seems as if the window won't roll down all the way either. Ok.guessing something from the inside door handle broke of and the window is hitting it

I notice that the little lock tab by the window appears to not go as high as the other ones when u press unlock. As I'd door is stuck in lock

No. There's plastic pins that are hidden when the door is closed. One covered by the end of the dash and one covered by the door pillar. You've got quite a situation there. Maybe try removing the door handle (the one that open the door) and see if you can manually pull the link or maybe just moving it may allow something to move. Good luck!

You can still remove the handle itself. Remove the screw from the center of the handle, and push the entire handle towards the rear of the car (could be front). The handle will move back about a 1/4" and then you can pull the handle out. If the linkage is still connected, there is a plastic clip that is fixed to the handle. It swivels and locks around the metal rod that opens the door. Push that plastic down to remove it, and the remove the metal rod from the handle. Once this is done you should be able to pull that rod and open the door. Might need to get some vise grips on it.

I got the door panel of Wight the door closed. Only broke one pin. Simply need to pry on the panel. Thank god it worked out in my favor. It seems as since the little plastic that connects to the outside door handle broke , it somehow jammed the other handle mechanism and the lock mechanism, thus not allowing the window to roll down all the way. Once I got the panel, I reconnected it to the outside door handle and got the door opened. If anyone ever has a problem like I did. I'm more then glad to help. Other option is to remove the driver side seat to have more room to pull the panel of
