Fiberglass fenders LT?

I've been looking at some suspension options for the 5th gens and would most likely go either Camburg or TC long travel. Anyone know if there are fiberglass fenders out there for the 5th gens yet?

I've yet to see a 5th gen LT. Please link or post a pic if you got one!

About a month or so ago there was a thread where a guy was asking if there was interest in doing a run of fiberglass fenders. I would search for that and talk to him.

But without fenders. His fenders are stock, which was the OP's original question. MetalTech also ran the +2 on their 4runner with stock and 35s. It rubbed and ate a few fenders but only [MENTION=49845]marshall[/MENTION] has really gone to the next step of making it fully functional with modified fenders... but they are one-offs, not production and probably best done by hot rod shops on a per-vehicle basis to get the best results. Once these rigs get a little older, stuff will start to come out for them on a production basis. Until then, it is custom work for the early-birds.

No one that I'm aware of has gone full 3.5" LT and big tires. In fact, the only 5th generation 4Runner that I know of that has done the full 3.5LT was Fox's SEMA Truck from last year, and that was on 285/70s.

The 2" would actually be perfect. I'm trying to imagine the 3.5" without having to fab up the rear for more travel. Thanks Fish, nice to see someone who has already done it. That looks real clean with the stock fenders, glad to know the tires won't stick out TOO far.

I was checkin out the Total Chaos LCA's before I saw that pic with the 2" LT. Happy to see I can fit it, gain travel, and get a meaner look for on a couple hundred more

Lot more than a couple hundred more. Need LCAs, UCAs, specific coilovers, axle$, tie rod extensions, etc.

Which is why I only quoted the part where he asked about LT on a 5th gen in general :thumb:

You will also need specific LT coilivers and want to do the spindle gussets, alignment tabs, and tower gusset. I got quoted for parts about 5K (maybe a little less) with ICON resis.

i Just finished up a long travel setup on my GX and I can tell you it costs ALOT for custom fenders. Also, if you dont plan on doing the welding and installation yourself, be prepared to chalk up at least $1,500 in labor. At least, thats what I'd think about charging.

i Just finished up a long travel setup on my GX and I can tell you it costs ALOT for custom fenders. Also, if you dont plan on doing the welding and installation yourself, be prepared to chalk up at least $1,500 in labor. At least, thats what I'd think about charging.

Talk about a luxury rig! Diggin the Lexus man!

I'll be doing the install myself, and have a buddy fab up any gussets/skids.
