Fiberglass Paint

SoCal Folks,

Please recommend a place where I can bring the Demello Off-road bumper filler piece to get it painted. It’s made out of fiberglass. I’ll be getting a Demello bumper installed at their shop. Originally, I planned on having the fiberglass piece shipped to me and I was going to find someone to paint it. However, due to its shape, shipping would be too expensive. My current bumper is already damaged where the cut line would be. Otherwise, I would’ve just had them cut the stock bumper.

Rattlecan it in your driveway. Use a drop cloth.

That was my original plan, but I just found out it will cost $140 to ship it to me due to it's shape. I wanted to have it shipped to me so I could paint it and bring it with me when the bumper is ready to be installed at the Demello shop. However, now I need to find someone local to Riverside/Corona area to paint it and have it ready before the day of the installation.

why can’t you rattlecan it tho?

I'm from Northern California. Demello is in Southern California. I'm driving down to Demello to get it installed. The fiberglass piece can't be installed/removed without first taking off the bumper. Demello is installing the bumper so I rather not drive there to get the bumper installed, drive back home, paint the fiberglass piece, remove newly installed bumper, install bumper.

They dont have a paint guy? I'm local, but I'm not sure youd want me to rattlecan it. :D

All the ones they suggested said they don't paint fiberglass. Is fiberglass just hard to paint? You can rattle can it if you can get it to decently match magnetic gray metallic :biggrin2:
