Some new must haves, when living in the Great Canadian North!
Bought an ATV last week, so the wife and kids can stay busy while I'm working in the bush camp all week.
New Mud/Snow tires for the 4Runner! The road into work is snow packed at the best of times.... and muddy as hell most of the summer.... so bought these babies to keep me on the road this winter!
Much better than the Procomp's I had.... as they have more sipes in them, for gripping on snow!

I actually like the look of the winter rims on Mean Green, just a personal preference.
Don't let your children hook up a sled to the back of the ATV and then decide to pull each other around on the snow. Bad things can happen. Just speaking from experience.....

Thanks for the compliment about the wheels... but I still prefer my polished ones! 
These are all chipped to shit... and look like crap now. :/
As far as the quad goes....
We pull them around... but do it slowly... lol! Kids are too small to drive the quad still.... only 5 and 3 years old!

Picked up a wood burning stove to heat my garage this winter! All I need to do is get a piece of sheet metal, and some 8" elbows to pipe my chimney into the stove... and I'll be golden!

Tires are LT265 75 R16.... Goodyear Wrangler Territories... Great in the snow.... and fairly quiet on the highway too!

Pics from the NEW JOB:
I figured I'd show you guys some pics from my new job. My wife and I bought a house 8 hours North of our hometown, and I work 2 hours away from her and my girls 5 days a week. I live in a work camp while there, and go home and sleep there 3 nights a week.
My "home away from home"....
An old decommissioned coal chute.... in one of our work sites...
Our mascot! He's always around the bunkhouse, and we can hand feed him! He's got a messed up mouth... so we call him Chretien (Former Prime Minister of Canada... he had a crooked mouth... lol).
Up close and personal with a freight train going 60mph...
We call this a "Clam"... it's a tool that we add to our backhoe, and use it to pick up ties, and do other work...
What remains of the old train town we live in.... people still camp in these houses.... but population is less than 10 people now...
After a day of shoveling snow out of the track switches.... my pants became solid pieces of ice!
That's about it for now.... it's a good paying job... so, might just have some money to start modding again!

Almost a ghost town out there Fightman. Need some new blinds. Looks like a good place for MeanGreen to cause some havoc.
Beautiful fox. The ones we have here in VA are mostly grey in color. Their den is a raised mound of dirt, usually producing a litter of three or more.
I don't know if I have ever seen a graffiti artist actually take into consideration making their artwork cuss free, but hands off to Todd and his ability to hang off of the chute to work.

Wow that's some rough work, I've worked outside in sub 30 but never that long to get my pants turn to ice, nice shot of Chretien, I do the same with some coyote s they love choclate chip cookies but hate the peanut ones,

Thanks man.... the boots I have on in that pic... are actually really warm. They are also anti-slip... and cost me $230.00 for the pair... :/
So far, my biggest issue working outside... is going to the bathroom... for a #2.. lol! I have no colon, due to having it removed 7 years ago, after falling ill with a bowel disease called "Ulcerative Colitis". The result... I poop at least 8 times per 24hr day... and usually have to go at least once per day while working outside... It get's mighty cold when you're bare butt... lol!
As far as the job goes... I like it. I've worked Security most of my working career, and really like this new change... I like working with my hands!

Mileage update
Was making my 110km voyage to work the other day, and this happened....
I've been driving the truck, on some of the worse roads I've ever been on. The road is plowed rarely, and is constantly traveled by speeding logging transports, who don't like to share the road! The road is normally a pothole fest, but since the snow has fallen, the holes are plugged up with the white stuff. Come spring and summer... it'll be a huge mudhole for the last 7 miles of my trek. Pics of the road will surely be posted come spring....

Found the clunk I've been hearing for the last couple of days..... :/
Turns out, it's my tail pipe that rotted off my shitty "Lifetime Warranty" muffler I bought, and have had replaced 3 times already...
SO!!! Looking to upgrade!!! What do you guys recommend?? I'm looking for something completely stainless....

Flowmaster makes a good product. I'd recommend them or Gibson.

Well, the muffler is still not in yet.... but I did decide to get a new head unit for the truck! No more skipping CD's on my way to work!
I'm on a training trip for 2 weeks, so will most likely wait til I get home before I install this badboy... but can't wait!

Well, got it installed! Love the new deck, using a USB flash drive to run all of my music, with sub folders for every type of music I listen too. So much better than having 100 cds in my truck...

Also, while on my trip back home... ended up getting a new Radiator, transmission flush, new rear axle seal and rear brake shoes, and new windshield wipers... Still have a weird burning smell coming from the truck though... thinking it might be a seized brake caliper... so might bite the bullet, and finally get the Tundra Upgrade... stay tuned for more!
Oh yeah.... also picked up this junk for the 05 Tacoma...
