The truck has approx...181000km's on the odo......around 112468 miles!

Wow, that pic is scry. I did my original belts at 120k and they were not cracked at all, timing or auxilliary. They are in my trail spare box.
So did they give you a gasket? I see part of something on the paper but I'm not sure if that is for the WP. The groove makes me think you are supposed to use FIPG.

I was shipped a gasket...but we also used some gasket maker inside the groove.....
One question for you guys.....do you have to put sealant on the bolts for the Water pump??

Well folks....it's done! I picked up my friend yesterday....worked on it a little, but then chilled for the rest of the evening and had a Halloween Party!

This morning (late morning...we were hung over..HA HA HA!)....we got to it, and after a leisurely approach, finished everything up (including test drive) around 5pm!

I'm extremely happy to have finally had this done, and although I like to do my own work, a project like this...with all the little pieces...would have been a disaster had my friend not done it for me!

Yeah, they celebrate it too, the only difference is that they give the trick-or-treaters little packets of Maple Syrup instead of candy.

Well, this month marked the 6yr aniversary of my buying the 4Runner, which I have affectionally named "Mean Green". (corny I know) I was feeling a little nostalgic, and therefore thought I might post up some pics of the buildup.
This 1st pic, is the oldest picture I have of her, but I've already added the Nerf Bars, Front Light bar, and the light covers.
The next thing I did, was the Side window visors and get the TRD Decals:
Next up was the lift: Toytec 3" lift, 890 Rear Coils, Front Spacers, and diff Drop
Another mod, was the Deckplate:
Next was the Wheel and Tire Combo: Maxxis Bighorn 285's and Procomp Wheels.
The next thing was the Rear Tire Carrier:
After that, I decided to build myself a roof rack. I started out using Recycled Retail Clothing racks:
Once I finished building the roof rack, I made up some Light mounts, and mounted up so driving lights and reverse lights.....
I still need to wire them up, but you get the idea.

Looks sure nice. Really nice truck. One thing I don't like, well the only thing, are the head lights. How you painted did whatever to. But to each their own, other than that, awesome done up truck!

Small update:
Almost ready for Winter! HA HA! I've got my winter wheels and tires on, all the chrome, rocker panels and door edges have been coated with a healthy coat of WD40!
Now, I've just got to get 2 new tires to replace the badly worn ones I got with the cheap set I bought for $340.00. I've made a deal with a Speed shop here locally for 2 Brand New Procomp MT's in 265/75/R16's, mounted and balanced as well as balance my other 2 used good ones, for $605.00 out the door!
Now, I know alot of you guys are thinking....."That's not a good deal....or I can get a better deal!", but you most likely don't live in Canada! lol! Shipping from the US to Canada costs a crap load of money. I tried buying online, but the best quote I could get shipped was $768.00....and I still needed to pay for mounting and balancing!
I'll post pics with the new rubber when I get them....should be on Monday sometime!

Well....I got my rubber put on....but the guys chipped my wheels all to hell with the darn impact gun! Looks like I have some touch ups to do.....I'll post pics of that tomorrow....as it's dark here right now.
In the mean time, I've got some pics of the maintenance I had to do on my Plugs and Wires. It all started with a CEL and rough running 4Runner....and ended up with me having to remove and replace all 6 plugs and doing the wires too!
Here's a shot of one of the plugs....they all looked this bad:
Here's a pic of the new stuff I bought:
I couldn't find dual ground plugs.....looks like they don't sell them around here...unless it's for a small engine or outboard motor.
Here's a pic of it all installed...
During the re-installation, the plug wires got mixed up, so I had to go online and get a diagram of the firing order so that the truck would run again! It worked out fine....and I can now say that this bit of maintenance has been done! That being said, looks like those plugs and wires were original to the truck....so not bad of a track record.....13year old plugs and wires on vehicle with 190000km's on it!
Again, I'll post some pics of the New rubber tomorrow!

So....no pics of the new tires......I ended up doing some running around, and got started on my panhard drop bracket!
No pics of that either....my buddy used his I-phone to take the pics....so waiting for him to put them on Facebook so I can move them to my Photobucket account.....
