Finally 4Runner Neon Underglow Pics

Sorry it took so long to get these up. My sister took our camera so I'm stuck taking the pics with the video camera.The quality is terrible.

Thanks,I tried to hide them but there was only 1 place on the running boards for them and it was close to the edge. So it was mount it at that spot on the outside of the board, or else not mounting them at all.
 
Yeah I don't expect anyone on here to put them on theirs. Im 17 and kinda crazy so I thought it would be cool putting them on. My friends all love it. But like I said before, there really was no place to mount them except where I did. There are 3 brackets that support the running board, and the middle one ruins all the other good places to mount it.
 
yeah seeing the tubes is what makes it hard...there is no where under there to tuck them? im gonna check out under mine and see if i can find a spot for you.
 
You're lucky to be 17 and owning a newer 4th gen but you don't need to make it look like it belongs to a 17 year old.

Yes, I am very lucky to have such a nice car when I'm so young. I probably will take the tubes off eventually. But, my friends all love it, there's a surprising number of adults that like it so I would rather keep them installed and only turn them on when I'm showing them off, then to uninstall them and not have them. I don't drive around all night with them on, but when I'm parked at my pool I do turn them on because I can't get hassled by a cop and they do look cool. So me getting pulled over it very unlikely, but I have a copy of the VA law in my glove compartment incase I get stopped by an uneducated cop.

Ok I'll be honest I hate neon underglow, I think it's one of the worst things you can do to a vehicle as far as lighting goes, they might look ok on a riced out civic with Euro tails and a 10 foot spoiler but they just don't fit on a 4Runner... And he's going to be in for a rude awakening when he breaks one about every two weeks, they are fragile as hell.. Ditch the tubes and get some blue HID's like I have if you want to stand out!
 
Agreed with Fo_SheeZy's statement. Not to hate on it or anything, it just looks a bit silly. Especially on a stock 4R. But if you like it, more power to you! A nice pair of HID's will get you the attention you seek.

Fo_SheeZy i agree with most of your statement. i love the 10 foot spoiler comment i used to call them biplanes with those double deck spoilers.... but to each their own if he likes them...keep em.

i wish i was rollin a new 4runner when i was that age. damn!
 
Even tho' I like the upgraded interior lighst ...I am not into that underglow thing for my car...but I like to see it in other peoples cars. Don't know if the 4runner looks good with that...maybe if I see it in person I could give a better opinion. Anyways...if you like it....enjoy it...I'm pretty sure that when I pass my 04 Sr5 to my son he will probably put lights all over the car....and turn it into a mini mobile club....lol
