Finally changed differentials and transfer case to synthetic. Is it me or >>>>

is the mileage better????

I can't ever recall the computer over 23 mpg after 100 miles!!

I noticed about a 1.5 MPG increase after changing both differentials and transfer case, without a doubt it's better!

I am interested in seeing if they reduced the harmonic vibration that I typically get from the rear diff in the cold.

I did as well...after i changed the front/rear diff and transfer case fluid to Amsoil.

I noticed some improvement to... I suspect those who will notice it most are going from the OE Toyota non-synthetic to a synthetic. In the cooler climates the synthetic will make a big difference especially on short drives.

My trip computer immediately read a 0.5mpg increase, as in the moment I pulled out of my driveway. I used Mobil 1 in all 3.....

Never actually manually checked for an increase, but the computer certainly noted less resistance.

Anyone who has not made the swap should seriously consider the change!

I never really got the chance to see. I had all fluids replaced when I got my truck and it's been at about 20MPG total (mostly in town) and hist about 23 on the highway

What brand of Synthetic did you use?

Having all the plugs Toyota made it easy for us.

I used Mobil 1, AutoZone $8.99 qt.
