Finally found a T4R. What to inspect

I finally found a 4Runner (2009, base 2wd, 26k miles, $20,500), and am getting it inspected by a mechanic tomorrow before handing over the money. Is there anything in particular I should have him look for? Thanks. Can't wait to get the car, think I got a killer deal

he should know what to look for i would imagine. definately check the color of the fluids, but really it should be in good shape, and with that new of a car it really shouldnt be an issue. its really going to be more of an issue of how well they took care of the interior and exterior and if youre happy with that. it would be hard to tell how well someone took care of it without tearing down the motor.

Ok cool, on my old car, when I bought it, it had to be checked for sub-frame tearing as a result of the specific model problems. i didn't know if something like that applied here. Thanks

If it's been sitting on a lot for any amount of time have them check the calipers for siezed pistons. This is a common problem with the lower fronts but not likely when that new.
