Are these front links supposed to be 1" shorter than OEM?

the front links are about 1" shorter than the OEM.
Is this correct?
How am i supposed to move the swaybar up 1" to reconnect?
Also on the shorter arm, is the swaybar just supposed to rest against the body of the ball joint? i would think it would be better to rest against a flat should like the OEM and the top arm does. I would think that sandwiching between 2 nuts would be preferable.

I suggest you re-study the design of these links and understand how they function, both connected and disconnected, before you ask anymore questions.

Quick question for anyone who's installed these, or any other front disconnect system for that matter.
During the link installation, I noticed that the bushings hold the swaybar really tight; pretty much to the point where I couldn't move it by hand.
Has anyone tried applying some grease to help the swaybar articulate and prevent undue wear to the bushings while the links are disconnected?
Seemed to me like it might be a decent idea, but not sure if it will really be needed. Thanks!

Always grease my bushings.... I just put grease on the sway bar where it contacts them.

I just got a set from toytec because the SDHQ links I got are loud on drivers side, sounds bad and I dont need any "somethings wrong" noises unless of course somethings wrong. Im going to install today Ill follow up to keep this thread alive.

Did you buy them from an employee or from the actual company Toytec?
