My son is out of the Army now so he decided to start on my Runner. He is going to change colors, I just haven't decided on what color yet.

Is that Dorado Gold now? Awesome that your son is out and taking on the project. But that's probably one of the nicest colors on a 4Runner to start with.

I like the color, just tired of it and since my son is willing to tear it down and do it right I said go far it. He will be removing the fenders, hood, and rear hatch tomorrow. Then all of the glass has to come out.I looked at colors for 2 hours this afternoon and still haven't decided.

Are you trying to stay within OEM colors or are you wanting something completely different?

What are you favorite colors? Can you narrow it down for us? I'm sure we all have different taste. I've always been a fan of darker blues and greens but I know that the darker the paint the more visible scratches there will be.

Either a graphite gray or a green pearl. Here's my green. Pictures don't do it justice. I'm not positive if this is oem. But I love it. It's got a fleck to it too.

Henry Ford got it right like 100 years ago...

Any color you want, as long as it's...............................................................

BLACK.

I liked the matador mica so much i painted one of my guitars that color. Looks great in the sun but kind of boring otherwise. Any pearl will be like that though, and being a 3 stage pearl you're looking at big money for materials and a bit more time/effort/technique to spray. I vote for a nice charcoal metallic with black accents.
