I brought home my brand new '07 4Runner SE 4X4 V8 on Friday! Here are a couple of pics. Sorry about the low-res quality. My girlfriend is out of town and she has the camera. These were taken with my cell phone.

I just got done putting on a front skid plate too. Here is that pic.

This thing rides like a dream! Makes my old Grand Cherokee seem like a rattle box. I'll be getting my driver and passenger windows tinted this week. Also should be getting my exhaust tip this week. Good times!

What plate is that? Toyota?

Yup, got it at a local dealer. It only took about 45 min. to install and does not require any drilling. Pretty straight forward and adds a good look to the front end. It's not super think so if you're thinking about using it for heavy off-roading, you might want to consider a beefier skid plate. For the occasional off-road jaunt, it should work fine....and it looks good too.

Congratulations! It's an absolutely frick'n awesome feeling isn't it?! It's always a nice feeling to hear someone else picked up their new 4runner. We all share in the excitement. Welcome to the family dude! :bigok:

Thanks Dingo. Yeah, it is a nice feeling. It's also the first time I have bought a brand new car so it's a great feeling. It will be nice to know that I have been the one taking care of it since day one!

Did i tell you how much i like the styling changes since 2006?!:D Man, if i was in the market right now, then the 4runner is definitely at the top of my list. I love the look of it, the comfort of it, and the off-road capability (with good AT tires of course).

Very nice and congrats on your new SUV!!

Congrats, Im extremely jealous of you having a 4runner in Colorado. I hope you plan on testing the off road abilities on one of the many trails you have out there?

Absolutely! I'll probably start out on pretty tame trails because this is the first brand new car I have ever owned. But off-roading is certainly on the agenda!

Good, I bought mine in May '05 and was in Colorado in Aug '05. I did minor trails as well and only have little natural pinstriping to show for it. I did Tincup pass, Mt. Princeton, and up to the Alpine Tunnel, all fairly easy if you dont mind some shelf roads.

I'm right there with you. PM me when you guys are planning a trip. (also my first new car...)

I'd really like to have an official t4r.org run up ay Slaughterhouse which is fine for a stock truck to get dirty and keep the sheetmetal straight.

congrat!!!! :bigok: :bigok:
