He has to, there is no way around it unless this isn't actually their LT kit. TC also offers a mid-travel. But depending what size those BFG's are, he may need them even if it's the mid-travel kit. The largest tire you can fit with the MT and stock fenders is a 275/70/17.

Mid-travel- 4" (2" each side)
Long Travel- 7" (3.5" each side)
His pics look like this is the mid-travel, but it may just be the angles.

That's what I thought. TC's LT kit has to have glass fenders for the upward travel. Glass is optional on the MT kit with certain sized tires.

HB- You know your sh*t man. You're right, this is the mid travel kit, my mistake, 2" to each side.
I don't plan on swapping out the fenders, my bumper was made specifically to line up with my stock fenders. Personally I like the stock fender look, and the reason I didn't go with the 3.5" kit. The tires i'm running (like HB said)are the 275/70/17.
Future modes are for the rear; i'm thinking eibach's or icons rear, 2" springs and 2.0 fox shocks. I'd like to not go crazy and start fabricating the rear, seeing this is my daily driver and not a full blown romp truck. :toilet:
Also I'm thinking of adding the trd supercharger kit, but i've been hearing nothing but problems occur. Anyone have insight on that?

King remote resi shocks and Icon coils. Add TC's rear link set and I'd have their rear LT kit. It's not really LT, but it keeps up with their front stuff. I assume you don't plan on going full LT in the rear, because that would require more fab than the front.
Shocks were $860, coils are about $200-$220, and TC charges like $1200 for their rear link kit.
Take a look at this thread. Chris (T4RFun) has the same kit as you in front, as well as their rear kit. He just uses King instead of Fox.
