Hi everyone,

Finally got some picz together of my new to me runner. A few of you responded to my inquiries particularily the one regarding which runner to chose, thanks again guys! She's a 2003 Sport with the V8. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Thanks Chris! as soon as i get a little mud on her face i'll definately post some pix...in the process of finding some spots around here to do that but I haven't had a lot of time lately...great name by the way, of the...what 10 thousand plus members...i find it funny that the only response is from someone who has the same name...anyway, thanks again and have a good one...

Or does your Sport Edition say SR5 on the door?

yup, SR5 on both sides and sport on the hatch...is this not normal??? I was looking at those last night(SR5), thinking of removing them cuz they just don't look right to me...what do you think?

Hmmm... since it's a Canadian model, I can't say for sure. But US market 4Runners, the Sport Edition trim has "Sport Edition" on both front doors, nothing on the hatch other than "Toyota" on the left and "4RUNNER" on the right. However, Toyota does not distinguish the Sport Edition through the VIN. Using a VIN decoder, the VIN will only tell you if a 4Runner is a SR5/Sport Edition or Limited--it will not say if it's Sport Edition, unless you physically check it.

i live in canada and I have sport edition on both drive and passenger doors. No SR5 anywhere on the truck.

The BFG's are 265/70/17's...no rub that I can tell...

...maybe the SR5 badge was on the 03's only? or, maybe the previous owner added them but I don't know why you'd want to do that...I don't think they look bad but at the same time I'm still leaning to remove them...

...thanks for the reply's guys, the bug bit me before it was even in the driveway ...needed to distinguish it from all the soccer mom's I see driving these...can't wait to lift it!

What else is weird there is also no 4wd emblems either? Nice ride though I am sure you will enjoy it
