Fire Extinguisher's Let's see them

As the title says, lets see your Fire Extinguisher and where they are mounted. :hatsoff:

I have a question on this topic... I have a fire extinguisher in one of my ARB drawers in the trunk. What I don't have is a fire extinguisher that's easily accessible from the driver's seat in an emergency. All of the 'easy access' mounts I've seen are for roll cages, which I don't have.

I mounted mine in the back on the access door to the jack. If you go this route, try to cut slits in the backing to make it easier to get the bolts through. I didn't use washers on the back to spread the load, but it holds tight. I mounted mine just a bit too high, though; the privacy shade won't fit over the top.

Mounted mine securely to some Orange Boxx Fabrication PSD racks. Single handedly the best mod ever done to the truck.

This is the most recent thread I could find on this.

The Amerex B500 fits perfectly in the passenger side cargo area storage compartment. The door fits on and closes normally and there's even space left for some other small items.

I'm going to get a quick-release buckle for the compartment strap for faster access. Other than that, am I missing anything in terms of concerns about that space as a storage spot?

Does one need to pay attention to temperature ratings when purchasing one to store long term in a vehicle?

similarly to others I mounted in the cargo area. I didn't want it on the door, as it's not the most secure and the last thing I want in an accident is the extinguisher to hit me or my passengers in the head.

mounted with the bracket and 4 bolts with washers on both sides. It's definitely secure. The temperature rating on my extinguisher definitely is within the temperatures it will see in my vehicle.

Mine has been buried in the passenger rear compartment...not exactly quick access...I can get at it fairly fast.
Some emergency ice packs, a spare ball cap, a couple mylar blankets, a couple packs of trioxane and a cheap 12v tire inflator...for flats. Along with a patch kit in the tool box. First-aid turned into its own bag over the years...lol.

Don't have a photo easily available, but mine is bolted through my Weathertech floor mats right in front of the drivers seat.

Had something located there for years with no issues and if I ever needed it I could grab it quickly. It also doesn't get in the way whatsoever.

No pics easily available but I also have mine mounted in front of my drivers seat. No issues kicking it or getting in and out, very close and quick to grab. I used the Bracketeer bracket, highly recommended. Also worth noting it's a halon type.

I have an Amerex extinguisher, my online research lead me believe that heat generated from the sun inside a car, will not damage the fire extinguisher.

No pictures handy, but mine is mounted in the driver's side rear compartment where the jack tools used to be. (They're now in one of my drawers.) Super secure, hidden, and easy to access.
