Fire Wall Connector

Another connector question... I found this light blue connector loose by the driver side fire wall. It's to the right of the brake fluid by the drivers side. Why would it be loose?

It's hard to tell from the picture, but I think that looks like the hood-puller (whatever it's called). How loose is it?

Not that loose. I was able to push it back into place. That makes sense that it would be the hood puller.

Yeah, maybe it just came loose from opening the hood a lot or something. I don't think the clip is anything more than a stabilzer as the cable passes right through. Be careful with that big rubber plug. If you knock it out of place it is a SERIOUS PIA to get seated again. I ran my 4 guage cable through there for my stereo. I did it the lazy way (Jammed it through w/ a philips head) and tried to poke my wire through. As I was pulling the wire it pulled the whole plug out of place. Getting it back in was the hardest part of my install!
