I ran Destination ATs on a Pathfinder and they were absolutely great street tires (super quite, great balance, excellent road manners) but they were subpar for me in snow and certainly off road in anything but dry conditions. If you see any snow or mud, these are not for you. They cleaned out poorly and just didn’t muscle through wet off road conditions. They also did hold gravel like it was their job. No good ejectors built in.
I would get the Destination ATs again for my wife’s truck if it only occasionally saw off road stuff. If the intention was to take your rig off road, there are better and more aggressive options that will do better.
My KO2 C-loads in 285/70-17 have been good and don’t have any of the issues that have been reported by others. It seems like those issues occurred in earlier run tires. They do really good off road and while they clean out pretty good in mud, they’re no MT but they’re not meant to be. There is a reason they’re so popular, even while being more expensive than other options.
