I'm looking for a grommet or hole to use to get a light bar wiring thru and don't see anywhere. Am i missing it or anyone have a tip on doing this? Its a 2002 4runner. Thanks

Super easy to drill a hole and install a wire boot. I will take some pics later today and update this post. I deleted the internal pic too fast. If you want I can retake it. I got the boot from Summit Racing. I believe they call it a firewall boot. Has several diameter steps so it is air tight as you add more wires.

I'm confused... why can't you use the existing factory firewall access hole that is already there?????....

I've squeezed 2 gauge wire through mine... remove steering column dash pieces to see it from the inside & if you open your hood, it should be fairly obvious where it is right under the brake master cylinder.... you should see a bunch of wires going through already

I went through the firewall grommet with no prob. Installed 2 light bar, 12v outlet, usb charger and 12v reader. You can put some silicon to seal it after.
