firewall HELP

OK, maybe I'm not seeing it, but where on God's green earth are you coming through the firewall at? I see on the right hand side a round rubber grommet with a couple of things going in, but when I get inside and under the dash by the pedals, there's a foam or some type of barrier....out of all of my Toyotas, this the biggest pita. Trying to get my D2's going and want to get some advice before I screw something up.

Obviously, I am coming into a conversation that was started somewhere else. Are you trying to run wires through your firewall?

On the driver side of the firewall there is a big rubber plug with a couple nipples. I cut a nipple off and fed my wires thru there. I used a coat hanger with the wire taped to it to feed it thru the nipple easier.

I just cut a slit at the bottom of the nipple and fed the wires through that. I would also make a loop with the wire that is lower than the nipple so any water on the wire doesn't get inside.

I ran my wires through the evap condensation drain on the passenger side, next to the blower motor... Super easy to access and penetrate!
