First Snow, NY

I am on Long Island, we got first snowfall so I had some fun driving to work this morning. Then when i got to work I had some fun driving through snow drifts and up on the grass, haha. I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to snow. So far the Revo's did pretty well, I am happy with the performance in the snow, I felt comfortable driving 65 in it...lol

65 MPH in snow? The roads were plowed right? We just got a dusting here in NJ.

They werent really plowed, there was just a 1-2 inch covering but I felt comfortable driving at that speed so I kept it up maybe it was around 60 but still felt good

Sounds like fun. With the polar air sweeping in this week everyone east of the rockies may have the same fun.

Driving in the snow is great...i just feel bad for my truck when its this cold, it feels like it is frozen

haha, yeah it will...i still wish it wasnt all time 4WD so we can do some real donuts, dont get me wrong I still have fun with it but I like messing around with rear wheel drive in the snow, i take my dads Tundra and fishtail like crazy then when i really need to drive just push the 4WD button, which is nice.

I lived on LI for a year---they do 60MPH no matter what the conditions are!

60-65 thats on the highway right I left my truck in the garage, it's great in the snow but we had more icey roads and people are stupid and tend to crash into each other so I leave myself out of the mix, I prefer to go out in the middle of the night and drive around, almost no cars and it's safer but Im bored of the snow and ready for it to warm up, I've had enough 4x4 fun but it's cool to be driving a capable vehicle.

Here in Central NJ, we got only a dusting. I was very disappointed because last week, they were predicting 6-12 inches. Well, it barely even snowed for an hour here. I had no fun driving this morning. When I got out of my truck and had to walk, I even had less fun!!
