Fix for steering wheel wobble

So for the past couple weeks when first driving in the morning the steering has been shakey for the first 5 miles or so. Plus all day the truck seems to tend to wander (following road grooves?). I had been thinking that it was due to flat spots in tires due to colder weather and sitting all night plus the fact that I'd had the dealer rotate the tires.......

Well both were a little bit of contributors - but the real reason:

When the dealer did the tire rotation he also set the tire pressure to the recommendation on the door sticker = 32 psig.

I pumped them all up to 40 psig and everything is beautiful again!

NOTE: These are E rated LT mud terrains. They only like low pressure when off the road - not on the highway at 65 mph. :clap2: :yo:

Tried 40 psi in my tires when I first got them. It felt like riding on a skateboard for me.

when i got my truck back from the bodyshop my tires were at 26PSI, which is where the tread lays flat against the road. the handling manors were pretty sorry, and my fuel milage dipped into the low teens.

aint nobody got time for that, she's sitting pretty at 40PSI now. i need new rims something awful...

I'm on stock suspension/rims/rubber and it is drives like a floppy noodle. It irritates the hell out of me. Hopefully with the lift, UCAs, and new rubber going on next weekend it solves this issue. Probably needs a better alignment too.

Going to an LT tire will make a world of difference by itself.
